Blitzing Biology is an activity-based book, seeking to engage students in Biology through active learning. The activities strive to find a balance between different modes of learning and different levels of challenge. The activities incorporate ICT skills and resources, while avoiding excessive screen-time.

Alternatively, teachers and students may wish to use Blitzing Biology to facilitate homework and revision.

The author, Katrina Garner (BSc, BCom, DipEd), and the editing team for Blitzing Biology are all Science teachers in NSW. The author and editors have drawn on their extensive classroom teaching experience in their work on Blitzing Biology.
